The first half was very end to end- both teams having good chances to break the deadlock.
Berrows best effort of the half fell to Aron Goodwin, whose long range effort hit the bar.
The 2nd half was more of the same, but it was Clevedon who took the lead from a free kick which found its way to the top corner from 25 yards out.
It looked like it could’ve been an afternoon where no matter what Berrow did, the ball just wouldn’t go in. George Barrett in particular on the right gave the opposing full back a torrid time with his pace and determination creating a number of chances.
With 10 minutes to go Berrow rolled the dice and reverted to a back 3 and putting an extra player in attack, they were rewarded only a couple minutes later when captain Jake Frost poked home an equaliser.
The last few minutes were very tense, and the win could’ve gone either way, but it was that man, Jake Frost who popped up with a minute to go to score the winner to spark wild celebrations from the parents, subs, outfield players and coaching team.
It was an impressive show of character from the team, who went behind and came back to win and make it maximum points from 6 games.
Player of the match went to Theo Cooper, a colossal, warrior like midfield performance that ensured the team got over the line.
Berrow now have a 2 week break, when they return to action they have a double header against 2nd place Nailsea, who also have 6 wins from 6.
